Pastors Robert and Wendy Spady are the founding pastors of Open Altar Ministries. The church began in December 2015 in Chesapeake, Virginia, and later relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Married for 23 years, Pastors Robert and Wendy have built their lives and ministry on a foundation of love for God, keeping Him at the center of everything they do.

They are passionate about developing authentic relationships, strengthening families, serving their community, and advancing God's Kingdom by partnering with other ministries. With hearts dedicated to making Jesus Christ known, they are committed to impacting the world through faith, generosity, and service. Their mission is to work hard, help those in need, and glorify God through every endeavor.
